Respect, Authenticity and Healing American Capitalism

I’ve been quiet on this blog for too long, but I have been writing away as a featured blogger on HBR.org.

Throughout February and March, I authored a series of six blogs on executive compensation and governance. They capture my view of the pitfalls of stock-based compensation and my prescription for a way forward.

What We All Lost When Business Lost Respect

The Inauthentic Communities of the Modern Executive

Why Modern Business Is Bad for Your Mental Health

Five Ways to Heal American Capitalism

Why CEOs Don’t Owe Shareholders a Return on Market Value

Saving Stock-Based Compensation From Itself

  1. Thank you Roger for giving us a heads up when we dial you in on our BB’s and need a fix.
Your HBR series is terrific. Now if only I had the gumption to start practicing your prescriptions.
I just read the Krugman piece in today’s NYT magazine about how to build a Green Economy. What do you think of his prescription. What would James Buchanan say about this?
Up to now I felt i was doing my bit by keeping my carbon footprint to less than Al Gore’s
    Cheers
